1 DAY ADVANCED CARBINE

 

This class is an advanced class. Students must have completed at a minimum a 1 day carbine class with Stretz Tactical OR another reputable training company.

 

 

Topics covered include: 1 handed manipulation, advanced malfunction clearance drills, moving targets, difficult timed courses of fire, stress courses and more.

 

Physical requirements: For all tactical classes, students must be able to run short distances & be capable of standing for long periods.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Students must have completed at a minimum a 1 day carbine class with Stretz Tactical OR another reputable training company.

• Carbine: Serviceable duty grade carbine in .223/5.56, 7.62x39, 9mm, .40 S&W or .45 ACP. 
  The class is geared towards the AR-15 / M-4 carbine, but other proven platforms are acceptable - Serviceable sling (tactical type preferred.)

• Minimum of 5 serviceable carbine magazines

• Optics – (Optional, but highly suggested)

• Minimum 1 carbine magazine pouch or method to carry at least two spares magazine(s)

• 400 rounds of Carbine Ammunition

• Eye and ear protection (electronic hearing protection is preferred)

• Suitable range wear depending on the season

• Weapon cleaning & lubrication supplies

• Good attitude

 

OPTIONAL GEAR:

• Handgun with 100 rounds

• 1 spare magazine & a seviceable holster - NO crossdraw, shoulder, ankle or Blackhawk Serpa holsters - I WILL ALLOW SERPA HOLSTERS ONLY IF YOU ARE AN ARMED PROFESSIONAL & IT IS YOUR ISSUED DUTY HOLSTER

 

ZEROED WEAPONS 100-yard carbine preferred, but others are acceptable if you have a good reason why and understand it.
